Dogs are warmly welcome at MyDOG! Here you will find everything you need to know when bringing your dog to the largest dog event in the Nordics.
Checklist for Bringing Your Own Dog to MyDOG
At MyDOG, you can get a quick health check of your dog’s current condition, receive tips and advice on food and insurance, and try out various activities with your dog.
As a visitor with your own dog, you also have the opportunity to participate in our competition “Gothenburg’s Most Charming Dog.”
- Valid vaccination certificate required.
- All dogs must undergo a veterinary inspection.
- Veterinary inspections take place next to main entrance 5 (Korsvägen) or entrance 2 (opposite Liseberg’s main entrance).
- Dogs must be at least 4 months old.
- Consider the busy environment; it may be quieter on Thursday and Friday, or right after opening each day.
Accompanying dogs must be vaccinated against distemper as follows:
- Dogs under 1 year old: Vaccinated at a minimum age of 10 weeks.
- Dogs over 1 year old: Vaccinated at a minimum age of 10 months. The vaccination must not be older than 4 years.
- First-time vaccinations: Must be done at least 14 days before the event day.
- Always bring a stamped vaccination certificate with your dog for the duration of your visit, so it can be shown when needed, such as after a visit to the dog park.
Who is not allowed to enter?
Puppies under 4 months old are not allowed to participate in tests, competitions, or exhibitions, nor are they allowed entry.
The same applies to pregnant bitches 30 days before whelping or 75 days after whelping.
